John Hahn is a native to the Texas panhandle, born and raised in a small town called Pampa.  Throughout his adolescent years, he spent his time with 2 groups of people: geeks and musicians.  His love of music and technology has shaped much of his life up to this point.  

He spent the last 2 years of his high school career playing regulularly with a local rock band called Oblave, which was disbanded in 2002.    

He attended Amarillo College before transferring to West Texas A&M University to pursue a bachelor’s degree in computer science with a mathematics minor.  He was awarded his degree in December of 2008.

He began working as an intern software developer at a local bank his sophomore year in college and after graduating, he was promoted to a junior software developer.

Professionally, his experience is primarily in web and enterprise accounting/financial software development.  However, in his free time he tinkers with writing games.
